Introduction
Welcome to Česká Sibiř!
Let us introduce you to one of the oldest operating cattery with siberian cats in Czech Republic so far. It's founding cat was tomcat Nikolaj OK Sibiria (Damian) born on 22. april 1990 and then (four years later) it was kitty Belvi from Kajetanka (Terezka) born on 31. march 1994, both black – blotched tabby

Nikolaj's origin was from cattery OK Sibiria of Mrs. Božena Reslová, who was ever the first breeder of siberian cats in our Republic. He was intented to be pet but breeder had persuaded us that it would be pitty to neutrate him, so that Damian has taken part in breeding of many kittens, which not only remained in Czech Republic, but found their new homes even abroad. His merit was massive figure, he was 8 kilos of live weight, excellent quality of fur, massive typal head, and his negative feature was his temperament. He was beast by nature and even his owner had hard times with him.
Terezka (Belvi from Kajetanka) had came to us as female for breeding, and she was supposed to by partner of Damian. Unfortunatelly, yet the first litter of kittens was a very strenuously gained experience with handfeeding of kittens. Two of the males were born spontaneously, but female kitty wasn't very hurried to come into the world and whole thing ended up with cesarean section. Terezka lost her milk, so we were procuring baby's dummies, dolls bottles and we were making substituting milk (that time there was very short range of dried milk), massaging their tummies, dealing with constipation o
r diarrhea in babies. Kittens survived, grew up and they found their places in human and cat fellowship. Sad to say, Terezka
as the breeding cat has ended up very quickly. Apparently during the operation she got utterus infection, she suffered constant inflamnations, had two miscarriages (a veterinarian advised to get her fertilized) and it all ended up with neutering, so not to bother her anymore. As neutered cat she has led long exhibiton-successfull life (Europremior) and little time ago she celebrated her fifteenth birthday.

After having Terezka neutered, I started looking for new pussycat ¬ a black tortie was my dream – in Finland, a country, where siberian cats were and still are rather popular and of good quality. After a few unsuccessful attempts to reserve a kitten, I reserved a kitty from combination of Snowknight Destiny and legendary Gordey St. André down there in cattery Ully Räihä „Minnilän“ (I saw Destiny in my own eyes there in Praha at Worldwide exhibition in 2000) There were few kittens in a litter and my attention was attracted by silver tortie with white Kiss Me. So in april 2001 had a long yearned-for kittend arrived from Finland. Unfortunately, Nikolaj died that year from tumor disease, so that no other kittens came from him. Kiss was mated in spring of the next year with son of Nikolaj, coloured black with white - Ugan Sibri Rou and during her breeding career she has became the mother of 23 kittenst (see „litters“)
From the litter „E“ remained at home female cat Erinka, black and white tigered tortie. She should continue in breeding career of Kiss. From the litter „F“ remained charmful smoky grey with white female cat named Ferzja, and

Both of the female cats have different fathers. After Niikolaj ´s death we started searching for new tomcat. That was not simple because the owner of Nikolaj was of my mother and he should also live with her. As the first she found Nikolaj´s daughter, Arisha Karcat, which was one of the last Nikolaj´s kittens. She wanted this tomcat only on condition that he would be wildly coloured and would get to her before Christmas. It was a gallows term, just something over a month. Finally we succeed in finding such little tomcat at cattery Knyaz Gvidon in St. Petersburg and also all of the formalities get done. Atos got home very little time before Christmas and breeding group became complete.
